HAMLIN – “Even if the waivers didn’t apply, we’ve already danced twice,” said Chief Circuit Court Judge Jay Hoke to a jail inmate recently. Eden Miller, accused of violating the terms of her probation on a number of occasions, appeared in court on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, after being transferred from jail.

Opening the noon hearing, Judge Hoke noted that the proceedings pertained to an alleged violation of probation. Miller was in court with her defense counsel, Robby Long. The state was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Jackie Stevens, who was joined by Probation Officer Alaina Harvey.
