Mr. Long and his co-counsel, Charles Hamilton, negotiated this binding plea agreement for Ms. Tyree in Kanawha County Circuit Court. Ms. Tyree faced life in prison for the charge of First Degree Murder.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — A Kanawha County judge accepted a plea deal and a 20-year sentence for a Dunbar woman accused in a fatal stabbing in Charleston.
Circuit Judge Jennifer Bailey OK’d the deal Thursday in the case of Rashieda Tyree, who is charged with first-degree murder in the July 2020 death of Duane Troy Letlow, 54, of Charleston.
